In crossing situations, he always positions himself goal-line of his attacker as even when he is adjusting his position, he always ensures that he is goal-side as this allows him to make crucial blocks while his scanning of attackers behind is exceptional. Bacher is comfortable in sweeping up counter-attacks or pressure-filled situations with ease and aplomb.

Despite leaving Freiburg only a few years ago, Bacher could become a hot commodity for Bundesliga clubs in the summer transfer window as he could be a replacement for Mario Vuskovic at Hamburg. Union Berlin, Eintracht Frankfurt, Werder Bremen and Mainz would all be good landing spots for him. Serie A would also be a good league for the 22-year-old as Lazio, Atalanta, Torino, Bologna, Monza, Fiorentina, Sassuolo, Lecce and Spezia would also be really good moves for him. PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivsie would also be a good move for Bacher as the ball-playing centre-back is sure to be one of the most followed players on the upcoming market as he will not be playing for his hometown team for much longer if he continues on his current trajectory.
